At DECERTO CHIHUAHUA PUPPIES we believe in transparency and ensuring that all our customers understand their responsibilities and rights when adopting one of our kittens . This page outlines the process for signing the adoption contract and what to expect during this important step.


Why a Contract?

The adoption contract is a mutual agreement that protects the well-being of the kitten and establishes the terms of the adoption. It ensures that:


Both parties are aware of the terms regarding health guarantees, care requirements, and breeder support. The adoption process is ethical and fair.

By signing this contract, you agree to make the payment now so that we can go ahead and reserve your Pet.



Terms & Conditions

By purchasing a Pet from us, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

Payment & Delivery

The Buyer agrees to pay the full Pet price and all shipping costs.

Estimated delivery time is 2–7 days, unless otherwise agreed.

Deposits are non-refundable if the Buyer:
- Fails to complete the purchase; or
- Fails to pay the remaining balance by the agreed delivery date.

If payment is not completed, the Seller may resell the Pet without further obligation.

If a Pet becomes unavailable due to illness, death, or Seller-related issues, the Buyer may choose:
- A full refund; or
- Transfer of the deposit to a future litter.

2. Health & Seller Guarantees

The Seller guarantees that the pet is:
• Legally owned by the Seller.
• Free from communicable diseases at the time of sale.

The Buyer has 2 days following delivery to have the pet examined by a licensed veterinarian at the Buyer's expense.

If the pet fails the veterinary examination, the Buyer may return the pet and provide a written veterinary report to receive a full refund.

Failure to complete a veterinary examination within 2 days of delivery shall void this health guarantee.

If the Buyer elects to keep the pet, all future medical treatment, expenses, and care become the sole responsibility of the Buyer. No replacement pet will be offered.

3. Health Guarantee Exclusions

This health guarantee does not cover the following conditions:
• Allergies
• Undescended Testicles
• Loose Knees or Hips
• Stenotic Nares
• Elongated Soft Palate
• Umbilical Hernia
• Dermatitis
• Demodectic Mange

No replacement, refund, or compensation shall be provided for conditions resulting from heat stroke, abuse, neglect, injury, improper care, or inadequate socialization.

The Buyer acknowledges that they have researched the breed and understand the potential health issues associated with it.

All veterinary expenses and medical costs incurred after delivery are the sole responsibility of the Buyer. No refunds shall be issued for such expenses.

This health guarantee applies only to the original Buyer and is non-transferable.

4. Lifetime Return Policy

The Seller agrees to accept the return of the pet at any time during its lifetime to prevent euthanasia, abandonment, or surrender to a shelter.

No refund, replacement, or compensation shall be provided unless the return is the direct result of material misrepresentation by the Seller regarding the pet's health or condition.

5. Purpose of Sale

The pet is sold strictly as a companion animal.

No guarantees, warranties, or representations are made regarding breeding potential, show quality, performance ability, temperament, or future achievements.

6. Buyer Responsibilities

The Buyer agrees to:

  • Keep the pet as a family companion and provide a safe, caring environment.
  • Provide proper nutrition, exercise, shelter, and veterinary care.
  • Maintain all required vaccinations, deworming schedules, heartworm prevention, and rabies vaccinations as recommended by a licensed veterinarian.
  • Not sell, transfer, or surrender the pet to pet shops, dealers, research facilities, brokers, or agents.
  • Ensure that any future owner agrees in writing to comply with the terms and conditions of this Agreement.

7. Liability & Indemnification

Upon delivery, the Buyer assumes full responsibility for the pet and its actions.

The Seller shall not be liable for any injury, damage, loss, expense, or claim caused directly or indirectly by the pet after delivery.

The Buyer agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold the Seller harmless from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses arising from ownership, care, handling, or possession of the pet.

8. Legal Terms

Any legal claim, dispute, or action arising from this Agreement must be initiated within one (1) year from the date the issue first arose.

This Agreement shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Australia.

This Agreement constitutes the entire understanding between the Buyer and Seller and supersedes all prior discussions, representations, agreements, or understandings, whether written or oral.

9. Acceptance

By clicking "I Agree ", the Buyer acknowledges that they have carefully read, fully understood, and voluntarily accepted all Terms & Conditions contained within this Agreement.
